Miranda Cosgrove, who is already making a whopping $180,000 per episode for her hit show iCarly, revealed this weekend that unlike Miley Cyrus, she's got big city dreams for her education!
"I want to go to NYU really bad," she told the Dallas News, "but my parents want me to stay in LA. I think I'm going to end up at USC. I was thinking about maybe going there for two years, then going to New York."
Hey, not a bad plan — two of the best film schools in the world! Of course, it'd be pretty hard for either one to turn down one of the biggest college aged stars in the world!
So, with a hit show, new movies coming out and a hit music album, what could she possibly learn at school?
"I want to go to college. Then, I wouldn't mind being behind the camera."
A ha! A true artist! And at least she has some experience, hosting a certain web show!

In a concert in Lisbon this weekend, Miley Cyrus admitted that her song "Full Circle", is about "two people that no matter what, they're always going to come back together, no matter what anyone says, all the bad people that try to keep you apart... it's a personal story."
Uhh, yeah, we think we know who that's about, Miles! It's been a rocky, on again, off again love for Miley and Nick Jonas; the two dated very early in their celebrity, broke up (when Miley wrote "7 Things") and then, more recently got back together... and then broke up again. In between, Nick has dated Selena Gomez (twice!), and Miley seems happy with boyfriend Liam Hemworth... so does playing this song, from her album Breakout, mean they're back together?
We can't be sure, but she did say they rarely play this one — maybe it's saved for when they're dating again! Or maybe she's saying they'll date in the future, once she gets the Australian craving out of her system. Or maybe she just likes the song. Or maybe it's actually about her and her favorite ice cream man, who will always reunite for some delicious dairy treats despite "bad" people trying to keep her on a diet.

Nick played the part of Gavroche back when he was 10 years old and now he's coming back as Marius (a dream part he told his parents he would one day play)!

Crystal Bowersox Split With Her Boyfriend -- The Morning of the American Idol Finale!

Wonder why American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox sang such an emotional final song during Tuesday night's finale? It wasn't just because she was fighting to win the competition -- just hours before she sang her hear tout, Crystal split from her boyfriend, Tony Kusian.
Tony had been extremely supportive of Crystal over the course of the season, even wearing American flag pants at one point just because she asked him too! But the pressure of being in the public eye became too much for Tony.
"He went home," Crystal revealed this morning while visiting Ryan Seacrest's radio show. "He wasn't cool with the lifestyle." During the competition, Tony even admitted that he was happy for Crystal but not into the fame. "I don't need the attention."

Despite the unlucky timing, Crystal says the split was a mutual decision. "We're both logical, grown adults," she says. "He's a small town guy and it's fine. But I'm a small town girl, but I want this. I want this more than anything -- this career, this lifestyle. I didn't think he was up for it -- he didn't think he was up for it."
Because of how crazy this week was, Ryan told Crystal to talk to Tony after everything calmed down, which she agreed was the right thing to do. Now the question is -- will she date anyone right or focus on her music? According to Crystal, it's all about the tunes. "Now the real work begins," she says. "My life is never going to be the same, and I'm ready for all of it."

Nick's Theatrical Return!

Now this is some real JoBro drama!
It's his rock albums and Disney Channel features that have made Nick Jonas an uber-famous musician and actor, but it's a little known fact that he learned those talents a more classical way: the theater! As a 10-year old, Nick starred in the Broadway production of Les Miserables, as the street-wise revolutionary kid Gavroche. And now, he's headed back to the big stage!
Nick tweeted last night about the breaking news; he'll be joining the cast of Les Miserables once again, this time in London, for a three week run starting June 21st.
The amazing Cameron Macintosh reached out to me last year about portraying the role of Marius in London at the West End... On my closing night in 2003 I told my parents that I would come back to be Marius one day. It is truly a dream come true. More details will be coming soon. Can't wait to see the fans who make it out to the show!
Marius, his character this time, is one of the big leads — he's a student revolutionary and romantic, a perfect role for Nick!
Nick heads out to London to start rehearsals soon, and while we're not sure what it'll do to the Jonas Brothers' summer tour, we can't wait to see him in action! Well, on video... unless... he wants to fly us out or something!

Greyson Chance Signs To Ellen Degeneres' New Label

Ellen Degeneres is really taking her love of music to a whole new level! First the comedian and talk show host signed on as the newest American Idol judge, and now she's formed her own record label, eleveneleven. Who's the first artist she's signing? YouTube sensation Greyson Chance.
12-year-old Edmond,OK-native Greyson shot to fame when he performed Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" on the piano at his sixth grade music festival. He appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 13, and his YouTube vid has now gotten over 20 million views.
"Greyson ... inspired me to start a record label called eleveneleven," Ellen says.
"He is my first artist and we are making a record together."

Miley: No College For Me!

Miley Cyrus will wear feathers, but don't expect to see her in a cap and gown any time soon!
"My sister went to MTSU [Middle Tennessee State University] in Nashville, so I'd probably want to be there with all my friends, but I'm not gonna go to college right now," Miles dished to a radio show. "I am a firm believer that you can go back at any age you want, because my grandma went back to college at 62 years old."
We can just picture it now: Miley Cyrus, gray and wrinkled, showing up to school in an old Hannah Montana backpack! Classic!
Even though she's not going to seek a higher education right now, Miley does say that she's still growing up — even if people don't like it:
"No one ever wants to see someone grow up. It's like when Hilary Duff started growing up off the Disney Channel. Everyone thought she was anorexic and she did this and that. It's just because she grew up! She didn't look like a 12-year-old anymore."
Uh, not sure that was the best way to put it. But okayyyy.
Oh, and as for those pictures with Justin Bieber last week — is there anything to them? "I have my travel-size boyfriend [Bieber] and I have my oversized security boyfriend [Hemsworth]. It's perfect!"

During a recent radio interview, Miley joked about the two men in her life: Justin Bieber and BF Liam Hemsworth. "I have my travel-size boyfriend [Bieber] and I have my oversized security boyfriend [Hemsworth]," she laughed. "It's perfect!" LOL! Remember Miley and Justin went out a few weeks ago to talk about a side project, so these two are getting closer!

Report: Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato Split!

Rumors are swirling that after dating for about three months, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato have called it quits.
This comes on the heels of Joe and Demi spending last week together in NYC promoting their movie Camp Rock 2. Sources tell J-14 that there was tension in the air all week and there were even points when Joe and Demi wouldn't sit or stand next to each other and got super awkward when people would ask them about their relationship.
Joe is back in L.A. and Demi is currently touring in South America. Never one to hold back her emotions, Demi tweeted last night, "After the week I've had, I can PROMISE you I will KILL this show tonight... Get ready for one intense concert." Joe Jonas: Yes, I'm Going Solo!

A year after little bro Nick made his solo debut with The Administration, Joe Jonas confirmed to JustJaredJr.com that he was gonna take the leap into the world of side projects too:
"Yeah, there's nothing to hide. We're just waiting for the right timing. There's a lot of Jonas stuff going on this year, so once there's a place for that record, we'll release it. You'll hear a lot of new music from us."
Awesome! He's always splitting vocal duties with Nick, so it'll be exciting to hear Joe write and sing all the songs himself, a big step up for him. He doesn't get to play much guitar for the Jonas Brothers, so we wonder if he will on this record.
We also wonder what he'll sing about? Will it be all gooey love songs about Demi? Maybe a tune about his ninja obsession? A song finally explaining that pancake picture he had on his Twitter profile for so long? Oh, maybe he'll have a guest appearance by Frankie!
What we do know for sure: Joe used the word "us," meaning the JBs aren't breaking up. In fact, Joe and his brothers are on tour together this summer, have a new season of their show JONAS on the immediate horizon, and Nick says they intend to release an album next year!

JoBros' Elevator Trauma: We're Lucky To Be Alive!

Every now and then, even the kings of cool start to sweat!
 Jonas Brothers got stuck for nearly an hour in an elevator last week, and now, they've spilled the beans about the whole incident. So who got scared? Depends on who you ask...
Joe claimed it was he and Nick that flipped out:
"It went from, 'Okay, this is hilarious, we're stuck in an elevator, okay press the button,' to 'This is crazy, okay, I can't breathe, this is insane,'" he dished.
Yikes! At least he's honest. As for Nick? Well, the always collected youngest JB said he handled it like the real Mr. President:
"I didn't panic," he said, referring to his diabetes. "I just didn't have my [blood-sugar] checker with me. No one had it on them, and I was afraid that if [my blood-sugar level] went low in an elevator we wouldn't be able to do anything about it."
Well, that sounds reasonable! Especially since firefighters eventually had to come to rescue the guys with axes!
But the whole truth? Well, we'll just have to wait and see...
"We had our photographer Rob Hoffman with us, and he had his video camera so he taped the whole thing," said Nick.

The JoBros Got Trapped In An Elevator!

A report in the NY Post today dishes that all three Jonas Brothers (along with bodyguard Big Rob) were in an elevator after a sold out performance at The Grove in Los Angeles, when, all of a sudden, the elevator car stopped moving!
They were practically suspended in air. And thanks to some technical difficulties later in the night, it took quite a long time for them to come down.
"For the first 15 minutes they thought it was funny, but after 30 they started to worry," the paper's source said. We don't blame them for worrying... though if we were stuck in an elevator with the JBs, we'd be more pumped than scared!
"Security guards finally managed to pry open the doors. The elevator was between floors. The brothers are skinny and easily squeezed out," the source said. Phew!
But wait! The JoBros made it out... but what about Big Rob?
"It was tougher for their giant bodyguard," the insider dished.

Tay likes to live a life of grandeur, and her imagination doesn't stop at her front door. Nope, it comes right inside! Now that's got her own pad in Nashville, she's really applying the Taylor touch!
Perhaps serving as the inspiration for BFF Miley Cyrus's "Can't Be Tamed" video, Tay's living room is already pretty wild!
"There are rooms where there weren't rooms before, and I have a birdcage in my living room that is people-sized," Tay dished in a recent interview. Not sure what she does in the birdcage — keep guys who are mean to her, perhaps? — but more importantly, where the heck did she get it?
But if you thought that was nuts, well, you might find this one a little bit... fishy:
"Then there's a pond in the living room as well, and I want to get stingrays. I don't want people to think I'm crazy, but wouldn't that be cool?"

Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox Make American Idol Finale

Along with Justin Bieber's show-stopping performance of "Baby" -- complete with a drum solo by JB himself, last night's American Idol results show also sent Casey James home and left just Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox as the show's final two contestants. Lee and Crystal will battle it out next Tuesday to see who will be this year's American Idol when the voting results are announced the following night. The top ten contestants (including Aaron Kelly!) will also be brought back to perform on stage Wednesday, along with a special performance from Christina Aguilera.

Megan Fox Won't Be In Transformers 3

Megan Fox shot to fame thanks to the Transformers franchise, but she won't be battling robots in the third installment.
Despite rumors, Megan says she was not kicked out of Transformers 3 but chose not to return for the third flick. Sources say that director Michael Bay wants to go in a different direction for the next movie and will pick a new actress to costar as Shia LaBeouf's love interest.

Ashley Tisdale and Aly Michalka's New TV Show, Hellcats

Former Disney Channel stars Ashley Tisdale from High School Musical and Aly Michalka from Phil of the Future reunite on a new network -- The CW!
Their new show, Hellcats is about a college girl Marti Perkins (Aly) who loses her scholarship and has to join the cheerleading team, The Hellcats, to stay in school. There, she's thrust into a crazy competitive world of pressure and catfights -- where one of her teammates is her roommate Savannah Monroe (Ashley).
The hour-long show will air Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT starting this fall.

Taylor Swift Wins Song of the Year at BMI Pop Awards

The awards just keep on coming! Last night, Taylor Swift took home the Song of the Year award for her hit single "Love Story" at the BMI Pop Awards in Los Angeles.
The prestigious award is the top honor at the BMIs, and at 20 years old, Taylor is the youngest songwriter in history to win the award. She's also the first country winner to snag the honor in a decade.

It's been a really busy week for Taylor -- she was just in Chicago, where she accepted the Artist of the Year award from the National Association of Recording Merchandisers, and a short five-day break, she's heading back on the road to continue her Fearless Tour. Taylor will be in Ottawa, ON, tomorrow night, followed by stops in Toronto and Houston.

Keke Palmer Heads to Paris in a New True Jackson Movie!

A brand new hour-long True Jackson, VP movie is set to premiere this weekend, and it's no surprise that Keke Palmer's character, True, is stirring up trouble!
In the new movie called "Trapped in Paris," True and Lulu (Ashley Argota) accidentally lose the wedding ring that belongs to their boss Max Madigan's wife, so they have to get to Paris before Max does. They wind up posing as flight attendants and befriend a girl who is running away to Paris (guest star Gage Golightly of The Troop). But on their hunt for the ring, True and Lulu get held captive by a strange billionaire who kidnaps actors, comedians, and designers to entertain his daughter, Carla. Freaky!

This past Saturday Demi Lovato got to fulfill her childhood dream -- she went to prom in her home state of Texas with her best guy friend, Nolan Nard. Demi tweeted, "A promise made in kindergarten finally coming true. Prom with @nolannard!!! :)"
Wearing a gorgeous red strapless dress, Demi got to party the night away with all her BFFs from home. "Everything about this weekend was amazing. I love my best friends.. Texas, you will be missed," she tweet the next day.
The coolest part? Demi's BF Joe Jonas got her the cool Rolls-Royce car that she got to drive in to prom!

Lady Antebellum & Friends Raise $1.7 Million for Flood Victims in Nashville Telethon

After being hit by devastating floods, Nashville's music stars came together yesterday to raise money for the victims effected by the storm that recently hit the region. The "Music City Keep On Playin' -- A Benefit for Flood Relief," co-hosted by Brad Paisley and his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley, raised $1.7 million for victims.
Lady Antebellum, Kellie Pickler, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, and Dierks Bentley were among the many musicians who played at the sold-out Ryman Auditorium, and even more, including Brad and Keith, answered phones at a call center across the street.

"If there is a silver lining, it's that the world is getting to see Nashville at its best through this tragedy," Brad said from the stage last night.
In addition to last night's telethon, Ke$ha will put on a benefit show on June 16, while Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and Carrie Underwood will be participating in a benefit concert called "Nashville Rising" on June 22.

Draco Malfoy: Getting Old Is Hard!

Ahh, the magic of Hollywood makeup artists!
In the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows we'll see what happens to all the characters after the great wizarding wars. In order to make all those 20-something actors appear much older, the filmmakers had to use a mix of CGI and makeup, a process that proved, to Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), even more hilarious than watching Harry fall off his broom.
"I've been having some aging training. You've got to walk differently. There's a slump in your walk," he dished to MTV. "It's bizarre. We have a lovely guy who comes in. It was a little weird the first time — imagine you've got weights on your arms! There have been a number of times where I ndearly laughed and I had to hold it in." 
Unfortunately, it'll probably be about three years before we can see old Tom in all his glory on the big screen, but maybe he'll wear the makeup as a disguise when he attends the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park!

On July 27, the Jonas Brothers will be heading out on a three-continent tour... and Kevin confirmed to PopEater that new wife Danielle is coming with. "[She] will be there, absolutely. We're going to travel together and it'll be really nice," he said.

Danielle won't be the only SheBro along for the ride. Joe's current gf Demi Lovato is actually opening up for the band. And, even though she's done that before, the middle JB said "it's different this time." Yeah... because you guys get to snuggle backstage without worrying if anybody's watching!
We guess that leaves Nick as the only solo JoBro. But no worries. He'll still have company. "I'm taking my dog, probably, he recently told E! Online.

But don't you Beliebers worry! Allua is a female beluga whale who lives at SeaWorld San Diego. Justin stopped by for some up close and personal time while he was in San Diego for a concert.

When asked recently about her so-called pal Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato said, "We're both busy, and I wish the best for her. True friends don't let their friends and family be mean to you. If you can't trust somebody, you can't be friends with them."

We've long been suspicious about the status of Delena. They've been buds since their Barney days and were Princess Protection Program costars. But things seemed to have soured ever since Selena and Taylor Swift started to get close. Remember the whole "Ask Taylor?" incident when a fan asked Demi how her former friend was doing?
For her part, Selena has insisted that things are all good with Demi. But you never know if that's just for show. Plus, it might make it just a teency bit awkward that Demi is now dating Joe Jonas, who had an ugly breakup with T-Swizzle and is, of course, bros with Sel's ex Nick.
We hope these girls find a way to bury the hatchet... and not in each other's backs!
