Aly and AJ Michalka head out of their local Barnes & Noble bookstore with a couple new reads on Thursday afternoon (November 3) in Calabasas, Calif.

The 78violet sisters are big book readers — we wonder what titles caught their eye in this trip!

AJ just recently filmed a new movie based on a book — Jodi Picoult’s “Salem Falls”.

“BREAKING NEWS: Lifetime TV will air Salem Falls on November 19 in the US!” Jodi tweeted.

Aly Michalka Has Fun On The Set Of “CSI: NY”

 Aly Michalka will appear on “CSI: NY” this season. In her episode she will play a character named Miranda who is a singer who becomes famous in New York’s underground clubs. She ends up being investigated by the CSI team when the guy she has been dating is found murdered – uh oh!
