With the kick-off of Hollywood week on American Idol tonight, Ellen DeGeneres also makes her debut as a judge!
She'll hear about 170 hopefuls belt it out in hopes of making the top 24. So, what has she had to say about her new gig? "Simon is meaner than I thought," she spills. "But I'm getting good at delivering bad news...It's tough to walk that line of giving bad news and hurting people's feeling."
