Movies.com: Why MacKenzie Foy Might Be Twilight’s Next Big Star

In a new article, Movies.com discusses why young Mackenzie Foy (Renesmee Cullen) might be the next big star, and several fan sites weighed in. See what these guys think it is about Mackenzie that makes her stand out!

One of the things about Foy is the fact that she does uncannily resemble both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. In a franchise that is very concerned with character appearance, this was one hurdle met. In an interview last year, director Bill Condon spoke about the resemblances and being overjoyed that Foy both looked the part and had the acting chops as well. “Mackenzie Foy was like; wow that’s it [with her audition]. She looks like their daughter and there’s just a quality she had, you know. I mean and it was such a relief because Renesmee was so tough to picture and imagine, you know? So I have to say she was just like, I think we’ve got it right there, and then I showed her to everybody else and everybody agreed.” Fans also echoed Condon’s sentiment. Every time Foy spoke there were audible, adoring sighs from the crowd.

Summit announces BREAKING DAWN PART 2 Comic Con Panel

As expected, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 will have it’s own panel at Comic Con in San Diego next month. The film will have the first panel on Thursday in the giant Hall H! From the folks at Summit:

We are happy to announce that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 2 will be the opening panel in Hall H at ComicCon® International in San Diego on Thursday, July 12, 2012. Summit Entertainment will present a sneak peek at the highly anticipated conclusion of The Twilight Saga films. This is a must-see for fans interested in the story’s final chapter, who will be shown exclusive footage from THE TWILIGHT SAGA BREAKING DAWN – PART 2 and treated to a cast and filmmaker Q&A session providing details on the epic finale.
In addition to the panel, BREAKING DAWN – PART 2 will also be present at the Summit Entertainment booth on the convention floor.  Those who stop by will have the chance to attend autograph signings, participate in contests and collect free giveaways all weekend long.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially engaged.
The couple, who have been together for three years, met on the set of the film, The Last Song.
Hemsworth, 22, popped the question on May 31 with a 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond ring.
The center stone dates back to the 19th century, says the jeweler.
On Wednesday, 19-year-old Cyrus tweeted, “Thank you for all the love today :) I’m happy to share this news with you all. I feel like all my dreams are coming true. ❤ have a great day.”
No wedding date has been set yet.

Selena Gomez Filming A Movie With Ethan Hawke Called “The Getaway”

 While we thought that Selena Gomez got hair extensions put in for the movie “Aftershock,” it turns out that film hasn’t been 100% confirmed yet, and instead the new hairdo is for another movie called “The Getaway.” The movie will film soon in Bulgaria and it also stars actor Ethan Hawke.

Here’s what Selena revealed about the movie:

"I’m doing another movie called ‘The Getaway’ with Ethan Hawke. It’s really, really exciting. I go to Bulgaria and then I start filming. It’s more of an action movie, which is also different. So we’re doing that and then hopefully another movie, but that hasn’t really been confirmed yet. Then I’ll start working on my fourth album, which will be the best album I’ll ever do! But I’m just kind of halting music for a bit."
