Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially engaged.
The couple, who have been together for three years, met on the set of the film, The Last Song.
Hemsworth, 22, popped the question on May 31 with a 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond ring.
The center stone dates back to the 19th century, says the jeweler.
On Wednesday, 19-year-old Cyrus tweeted, “Thank you for all the love today :) I’m happy to share this news with you all. I feel like all my dreams are coming true. ❤ have a great day.”
No wedding date has been set yet.

Selena Gomez Filming A Movie With Ethan Hawke Called “The Getaway”

 While we thought that Selena Gomez got hair extensions put in for the movie “Aftershock,” it turns out that film hasn’t been 100% confirmed yet, and instead the new hairdo is for another movie called “The Getaway.” The movie will film soon in Bulgaria and it also stars actor Ethan Hawke.

Here’s what Selena revealed about the movie:

"I’m doing another movie called ‘The Getaway’ with Ethan Hawke. It’s really, really exciting. I go to Bulgaria and then I start filming. It’s more of an action movie, which is also different. So we’re doing that and then hopefully another movie, but that hasn’t really been confirmed yet. Then I’ll start working on my fourth album, which will be the best album I’ll ever do! But I’m just kind of halting music for a bit."

Lionsgate Used Taylor Lautner’s Popularity to Promote ‘The Hunger Games’

Apparently Lionsgate made good use of Taylor’s popularity when he was promoting Abduction last year! Here is what The Hollywood Reporter is reporting!

Hunger Games — the big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ best-selling young-adult novel starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth – was little known on U.K. shores 12 months ago but despite unseasonable warm barbecue weather for March, still managed to open with more than twice the box office of the first Twilight film here.
Lionsgate U.K. co-founder and chief executive Zygi Kamasa told The Hollywood Reporter that a big part of the U.K. release strategy began with the source novel and worked closely with the book’s publisher Scholastic here to do just that.
While Lionsgate was rolling out the Lautner-starrer Abduction in September last year, the savvy distributor gave the first 20,000 theatergoers a copy of Colllins’ book.
“In the U.S. there really wasn’t a need to build awareness for the book in the same way as we had to here,” Kamasa said.

Edi Gathegi Cast in ABC’s Comedy Pilot ‘White Van Man’

Deadline is reporting that yet another Twilight actor has been cast in an upcoming pilot. Edi Gathegi has been cast in a new ABC comedy pilot White Van Man. Here are the details!

Edi Gathegi (Twilight) is set to co-star opposite Kyle Bornheimer in ABC’s comedy pilot White Van Man. The single-camera is a blue collar ensemble based on the British format and centers on Jack (Kyle Bornheimer) who is forced to put his dreams on hold in order to take over the family handyman business from his father Tony (J.K. Simmons). Gathegi will play Darren, one of Tony’s workers. Also cast in the pilot is Johnny Pemberton as Tony’s teen nephew. The series takes its name from the UK phrase that describes the stereotype for drivers of light commercial vehicles, often self-employed or owning small businesses such as handyman services.
The ABC Studios/Mark Gordon Co.-produced adaptation was written by Bobby Bowman. Michael Fresco is directing. Gathegi, repped by ICM & Framework, recently starred in Tracy Lett’s play Superior Donuts at the Geffen Playhouse. Pemberton, repped by CAA, Principato Young & attorney Lev Ginsburg, will next be seen in Neighborhood Watch, This Is 40 and 21 Jump Street.
