Well that was a Swift rise to the top!There's no doubt that Taylor Swift is one of the top singers in music today, with two platinum albums, a boatload of awards and a near-permanent place at number one on the charts. The most impressive part? Unlike most popstars, she writes all of her own songs!
It's that amazing talent that has music legends taking notice, and, at the unlikely age of just 20, has won her a place in the Songwriters Hall of Fame!
Tay will be inducted as winner of the Hal David Starlight Award, which enshrines her amongst the best tune writers in history! The award ceremony goes down on June 17th in New York City, so mark your calendars for lots of gasps and "I can't believe it!" looks and blog posts coming from Tay!
At this rate, she'll be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after her next album!
