Last week, Katy Perry seemed to diss on her fellow lady pop superstar, Lady Gaga, taking the age old Twitter-disser method of calling her out. Katy tweeted, "using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke," which everyone took to be a shot against Gaga's new crucifix-heavy video for "Alejandro."
In an interview with a French radio station, Katy (who started out in the world of Christian music and whose dad is a pastor) kinda sorta backtracked, saying she would have used the @ symbol if she meant it at Gaga. She claimed to be a big Gaga fan, and even called out her fiancee Russell Brand for using profanity.
All this from the singer of "I Kissed A Girl" and "Waking Up In Vegas!" Yeah, umm, seem kinda desperate there Katy. Just admit it: you want the spotlight to yourself (we don't blame ya)!
