If the whole acting thing doesn't work out, Sterling Knight could always play a super villain in a comic book. That's because his parents actually named him Sandmann. As in Sterling "Sandmann" Knight.
Their excuse? It's German!
We guess that's fine, since it's his heritage and all. Still, we don't blame him for keeping it under wraps.
Check out the video to see him talking about this unusual moniker, as well as his friendship with Zac Efron, whose double middle name "David Alexander" seems pretty boring by comparison. Maybe it's just German for "He Who Blowdries Frequently."
