It's the battle of the superstars!
Last week, President Barack Obama made an appearance on The View, to talk about important issues like war, the economy and what's on his iPod. He had lots of good artists, but one thing he did mention: there was no Justin Bieber all up in there!
Well, the Bieb got a little fired up, and sent the President a tweet to try and give him some advise:
"Hey President Obama check out U SMILE and RUNAWAY LOVE - bet those could go in your ipod :)" he wrote to the most powerful man in the world! 
No word on whether the Prez took the advice, but I'm guessing there won't be a cabinet position for Justin any time soon!

Ellen and Kara are both leaving American Idol!

Wow! We were so sad when Simon Cowell announced that he was leaving American Idol, but there are more big changes coming to the judges panel -- Ellen announced last night that she was quitting and today, reports surfaced that Kara had gotten fired from the show!
For Ellen's part, she says, "A couple months ago, I let FOX and the American Idol producers know that this didn't feel like the right fit for me. I told them I wouldn't leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next. It was a difficult decision to make." Kara hasn't released a statement yet, but it's being reported that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will replace them as the new judges!

Selena Gomez takes Joey King to get her ears pierced!

For Joey King's 11th birthday (which is TODAY!), Selena and her friends took her to get her ears pierced -- and they even videotaped it! Joey is so scared to get it done, so Selena is there every step of the way, hugging her and holding her hand. Check out the sweet video:

Taylor Swift films video for "Mine"!

Since she announced her Oct. 25 album release date last week, Taylor has been busy as usual- this time filming her video for the first single "Mine" from her new album, "Speak Now"!
The video was filmed in Portland, Maine and features British actor Toby Hemingway as Taylor's love interest! Although the vid hasn't been released yet, reports say that Tay and Toby get married in it- can you believe?

The countdown is less than three weeks til Taylor Swift releases "Mine," the first single off her upcoming album, and if the newly released single art is any indication, it's gonna be beautiful! The song is about love (what else?) and Taylor's tendency to run from it.

Daniel Radcliffe Having A Baby?!

The boy wizard ain't no boy no more!
After spending an entire decade playing, and growing up as, Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe is hoping his new role as star of The Woman In Black will help change his image from kid to a more mature actor. How's that gonna work? Well, he'll have a kid in this flick!
Daniel plays a lawyer and young father in the film adaptation of the famous British novel, two things he definitely was not in the HP series. And while he's gone nude on stage (with a horse!) in Equus, he thinks this is the role that will catapult him to a different set of roles:
"It worries me (that fans will still see me as Harry Potter), but the challenge is to look like a dad and a young father," he told Cambio.com. "If I get that right, that is something that immediately separates me from Harry."

Zac Efron's new movie Charlie St. Cloud comes out in theaters today! Zac will be playing something of a different role than what we're used to. He plays Charlie, a character who has to find a balance between staying true to a new love interest and to his dead brother Sam.

When Diddy was asked about the rumor that he gave Justin Bieber his $200,000 Lamborghini, the R&B mogul played it coy, but revealed that he would totally lend JBiebz something much more valuable: His pet pooch!
"I can't confirm any rumors but I will say this — [Justin] is really hot right now," he said on Lopez Tonight. "If he asked me for the keys to my house, he got the keys to my house. If he ask for the keys to my Lamborghini, he can. He can borrow my dog. Justin Bieber is on fire right now! If you see him in any Rolls-Royce or Lamborghinis, it might be mine — but it's his for the day!"
Well, not sure Justin wanted to just have the car for the day, but hey, a dog sounds like a fun thing to borrow!

The singer just received her platinum record for selling a million copies of her hit song "Naturally."  A huge congrats to Sel and the Scene!
Oh, and she also got a gold record for selling half a million copies of her whole album, Kiss and Tell. Werewolves Coming To Vampire Diaries!

Move over Jacob Black! There's a new wolf on the block.
JSYK.com reports that Tyler from Vampire Diaries will make the transformation from normal (beautiful) kid to werewolf next season, aided by the help of a new character: his uncle Michael. The older, wiser wolf comes to town and helps make Tyler the furry guy he is!We've actually been sniffing around this for a while — producer Kevin Williamson talked a few months back with Entertainment Weekly about incorporating new creatures into the show.
"Wherever there are vampires, there are usually wolves nearby," he said. "My biggest concern is what the weekly special effect is going to look like. We're working on it now to figure out what we can do that won't just look stupid. And they have to still be sexy — because, let's face it, we cast these beautiful people for a reason."

Zac: Yes, I Went To A Strip Club!

After reports surfaced that Zac Efron spent $2000 at an NYC strip club with his High School Musical costar Corbin Bleu, the actor admitted the rumor was true on Jimmy Kimmel Live... and even joked about it! When asked whether this was his first time going to such a place, he quipped, "I'm trying to keep visits between four or five nights a week."  
OMG! What would girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens think!?
Well, turns out she was quite aware of the X-rated trip, as Zac had the foresight to let her know ahead of time (smooth move). Her reaction? According to him, "She was fine with it."

"Ironically enough I used to be Jasmine from Aladdin and that was my favorite costume," he told the website. "I used to feel like a grown up wearing it!"
Umm, what kind of adult, we don't want to know! Kevin also had a buzzworthy response: "I dressed up as the game Operation."

Justin Bieber was busy making a thank you shoutout video to his fans (that includes YOU! he said it himself!) when his knucklehead friends Ryan (the dude in the hoodie) and Chaz (tank top boy) showed up. They wouldn't believe JB was a star. Srsly?!
Of course, they rattled off all the things that do make a star: Twitter, Facebook, the most watched YouTube video ever... which, Justin has all of. But, he downplays it like the modest kid he is — which is part of why he's so awesome!

Justin def had an awesome weekend! On Sunday July 25th, Shaquille O'Neal presented him with 4 fabulous Teen Choice Awards, at his My World concert!   The awards show doesn't air until August 9th, but rumor is that Justin will be too busy with his tour to make it, and that's why he received his awards early. The 4 awards he won were for: Choice Top Album, Choice Breakout Artist, Male, Choice Summer Music Star, and Choice Male Artist.

Leave Selena a "Get Well" Wish!

Selena needs your love and support right now! She recently damaged her vocal chords and is on vocal rest for the next week -- she has no voice! She has to cancel her next few shows (in Delaware, New Jersey and Connecticut), and it breaks her heart to know she can't perform!
If you have tickets to these shows, Sel wants you to know they will definitely be rescheduled. She says:
"I WILL make it up. We are doing the best we can to reschedule all of the shows and I will do a 2 hour meet and greet in each city that I missed when I come back into town. We are also trying to see who was planning on coming to the shows so we can give you all tickets to the rescheduled shows. I am SO sorry about all of this and really hope I can see you all when I'm better."

Rihanna to Make Her Feature Film Debut

Rihanna is set to star in the flick Battleship based on the board game with the same name. The movie will also star True Blood's Alexander Skarsgård and Friday Night Light's Taylor Kitsch and is set to be released in May 2012.

At his show in Glendale, AZ on Sunday, since Justin Bieber isn't able to attend the Teen Choice Awards due to his tour schedule, basketball star Shaq surprised him by presenting Justin with four Teen Choice awards! Justin won: Choice Breakout Artist, Male, Choice Top Album, Choice Male Artist and Choice Summer Music Star awards!

Selena Gomez Loses Her Voice

Just days after her movie Ramona and Beezus came out, Selena Gomez lost her voice and had to go on vocal rest -- she even had to cancel her concert at the Delaware State Fair tomorrow.
"This sucks... My throat is sick. I'm not, my throat is. Ugh." Selena Tweeted.
Last night Selena was on Lopez Tonight and communicated with host George Lopez through a computerized talk box and a dry erase board.

From wizard to robot!
After a summer filled with movie shooting, song recording and talk show film promotion, Selena Gomez finally lost her voice yesterday. But like the magical star she is, Sel still filmed her scheduled appearance on Lopez Tonight — doing the interview in robot speak!
Getting the questions during the dress rehearsal, Sel plugged in her answers into this little box that spoke for her. While George Lopez asked the usual — tell us about your single, your movie, Justin Bieber, etc. — the answers were about a zillion times more hilarious coming from the Selena-tron-3000!
Even better? Selena's facial and hand expressions while giving the answers. She woulda been a great silent film star!

Are You Excited To Hear Selena's Collaboration on Her New Album?

  Selena Gomez has been on a roll lately! She just turned 18, released "Ramona and Beezus", and in September she'll be releasing her new album, "A Year without Rain". Selena recently spilled deets on the record, including the fact that she collaborated with Katy Perry on one of the songs!   Katy will be singing background vocals on the track, which she wrote and gave to Sel for the album. Katy is known for putting out songs that are catchy and fun (like her amazingly popular "California Gurls") and Selena's said that her album is going to be full of up-beat songs that are great to dance to. Sounds like a perfect pairing!

Zac Goes To War In New Flick!

New York Magazine reports that Zac Efron — fresh off his dramatic turn in Charlie St. Cloud — is set to take on another tear jerker called The Lucky One.
Zac will play a soldier named Logan Thibault, who survives a whopping three tours of duty in Iraq. Once he returns home to North Carolina, he goes searching for the woman in a random photograph he found — a photograph he believes was the lucky charm that kept him alive.
If you ask us, that lady is the lucky one!
It's based on a book by Nicholas Sparks (the author of Miley's The Last Song and, of course, The Notebook).

Rihanna Hops Aboard "Battleship!"

A little out of this world herself, popstar Rihanna has joined the cast of the upcoming boardgame-based, sci-fi flick, Battleship. Yup, they're making a whole movie out of an old game with little dopey boats and pegs, but with Rihanna set to make her feature film debut, it's gotta be good!
Here are the deets: The crew of the battleship take on some space invaders (umm, totally different from the classic game!), and they're fighting on the high seas to save the world. No word yet on what role Rihanna will play, but would it surprise anyone if she was an alien?
The flick doesn't come out til 2012, but we know one thing: we hope she produces the soundtrack!

Lucy Hale Reveals Pretty Little Liars' Secret!

When Lucy Hale, who stars as Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars, chatted with Ryan Seacrest about the hit show, she shocked fans by openly admitting who the mysterious 'A' is!
But don't worry, in the clip below Lucy only reveals 'A's identity in the Pretty Little Liars book series that the show was based on -- Lucy doesn't even know who's behind all the threatening messages on the show. Hopefully we'll get one step closer to unraveling the mystery on this week's brand-new episode "Please, Do Talk About Me When I'm Gone" airing Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.

Glee Season Two Spoilers

The second season of Glee kicks off on September 21, and creator Ryan Murphy promises that it will be bigger and better than last season.
-Just like last season's Madonna episode, the second episode (September 28) will be devoted to Britney Spears ."All I can say about that is that we're doing six Britney songs, and then Brittany (Heather Morris) is doing a Britney song," reveals Ryan.
-Kurt (Chris Colfer) will get a boyfriend. "I think Kurt should have a boyfriend and they should be prom king and king," says Ryan.
-Let's do the time warp: They plan to do an episode with songs from the movie Rocky Horror Picture Show.
-The number of songs in each episode will go from eight to five.
-We will see Mercedes (Amber Riley) go to church with Kurt. Ryan says, "We're working on an episode about religion."
-There will be another episode devoted to Madonna "at some point."
-We will learn more about Tina and Artie's relationship (Jenna Ushkotwitz and Kevin McHale) including a possible breakup!

Heidi Montag Quits Her Own Reality Show

After splitting with her husband Spencer Pratt and having to leave The Hills, Heidi Montag had hopes of filming her own reality show with her best friend Jen Bunney. But Jen just revealed that is no longer happening.
"Originally I was supposed to do a reality show with Heidi , but right now it looks like some things have changed, and I don't know if Heidi wants to be involved in reality TV at the moment with everything going on in her personal life," Jen wrote on her blog.
Jen will now pursue a show of her own.

Will Kurt Find Love On Glee?

*SPOILERS ALERT* is totally music to our ears!

Co-creator Ryan Murphy dished some real dirt on the next season of Glee (which is still months away), and it looks like they're taking things up an octave when it comes to Kurt.
After a rough first season of finding his identity, Murphy said that the character will actually find a nice boyfriend — and they'll be Prom King... and King. Now that's a sweet New Direction!
Things don't work out so well for Artie, though — he and Tina will not be a couple. WTF?!
In other Gleek news, Mercedes gets Kurt to go to church (whoa!) and there will be a Rocky Horror Show-themed episode. If you don't know what that means, ask a parent.

Lady Gaga has done some crazy things to bend the world of pop and art, but this might be her stinkiest: toilet art! A white urinal, signed by the pop star and titled "Armitage Shanks," is on display in a London gallery called SHOWstudio.
In a reference to 1920s artist Marcel Duchamp, who once signed a toilet and called it art (he was, umm, abstract!), Gaga wrote on the bowl: "I'm not f***ing Duchamp, but I love pissing with you."

Keke Palmer sat down for a long, wide-ranging interview with Ruba's World recently, and she dished on the most important important stuff: music, celeb gossip, and, of course, dating. When asked if she'd rather date Zac Efron or Scrubs star Zach Braff, she didn't hesitate — it was the Charlie St. Cloud star all the way! She even told her to call him... better watch out Vanessa!
As for another teen idol, well, Justin Bieber didn't get the same rave reviews. The Bieb guest starred on her show, True Jackson VP, last season, but Keke said she had more fun with 12-year old Willow Smith than JB. Who'da thunk it! Girl better get her head examined.

"I've got this crazy 13 lucky thing, and he walks on screen for the first time wearing a sweatshirt with a 13 on it! That was the deciding factor. It wasn't really up to me, it was about the number."

Even though she's an only child, Selena Gomez has been bonding like a sib with her Beezus and Ramona co-star, Joey King. For nearly a year, Sel has tweeting vids of 10-year old Joey (who plays on-screen sis Ramona) and herself, goofing off and having fun. Oh, and getting mom mad, too!
Talking to the Today Show, they told a story about how Selena gave Joey her first frappuccino. Joey's reaction was pretty enthusiastic, to say the least! Someone get that girl a decaf!
Yup, the two are real sisters, but even better — they don't fight!

Joe: Demi And I Are Cool!

Word was that things were totally awkward between Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato since their May breakup, but that ain't so, says Joe! Demi told Teen Vogue a few months back that the two hadn't been hanging out, but it seems things are much better now.
"I think that our friendship is so strong that it surpasses a lot of things and I think touring will be a lot of fun," Joe told Ryan Seacrest Friday morning. They're "definitely cool," he said, and they've even been, "trying to get together and hang out before we go on tour together."
We gotta think it's pretty awkward, but hey, they've got some business to do, like, you know, that gigantic world tour and promoting Camp Rock 2!
It'll also probably help if he lays off the other ladies while on tour, though we're not so sure what he meant when he told Ryan, "I'm just a single dude about to go on tour."
Because, you know, single guys on tour...

Justin Bieber Will Be a "CSI" Criminal!

Cuff 'em! But not too tight, please.
Justin Bieber has landed a guest spot on CSI (the original version) as CBS just announced that JBiebz will guest star in the season premiere as a "troubled teen." Uh oh!
His character will also be faced with a "terrible decision regarding his only brother — a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs." Duh duh duh.
This really sounds juicy! And making it even more awesome, his character has a multi-episode arc.
But is the usual cast from the crime drama a little miffed to be in JB's shadow? Hardly. They released a statement, reading in part that, "Every 20 years, a phenomenon like Justin Bieber graces our world. We'd like to believe that the phenomenon of CSI has had the same impact on popular culture. The opportunity to bring them together in the premiere is a great treat for our audience and all of its new viewers."
Sounds like they're really impressed. And they should be! Justin's already hard at work, tweeting yesterday, "morning world...we got the acting coach here....learning 'a new craft.'"
Let's just hope he doesn't end up doing hard time. We wouldn't want to see him behind bars!

The upcoming episode of Suite Life on Deck reveals that Marcus will be leaving the ship! We're so sad to see him go, but luckily we're going to see more of Doc Shaw (the actor who plays Marcus) in another brand new show! Doc will be starring in the upcoming Disney Show Pair of Kings. He will play Boomer, the fraternal twin of Brady, played by Mitchel Musso. The two guys begin the show as typical teenagers living in Chicago but everything begins to change when they find out they are royalty on the island of Kinkou. It's def not going to be easy for them to run their own island! Watch the show to see what happens.

Demi Lovato's Sonny With A Chance Character Inspires New Clothing Line

Disney and Target have partnered together to create a line of clothes inspired by Disney Channel characters called D-Signed.
The first collection is based on Demi Lovato's character from Sonny With A Chance, Sonny Munroe. The Sonny Munroe Collection will consist of embellished graphic tees, skirts, dresses, pants, knit dresses, shorts, fashion tops and jackets, headbands, necklaces, and bags and will be available just in time for back-to-school. A second installment of the Sonny collection is slated to hit stores right before the holidays.

Justin Scores Diddy's $200,000 Car!

London's Daily Mail reports that Diddy recently followed through on his promise to give Justin Bieber his $200,000 Lamborghini. The rapper/producer said in the special 48 Hours With Diddy that he'd give JB the hot wheels when he turned 16, and a few months after the big birthday, The Bieb is reportedly crusin' in style.

Happy 18th birthday Selena!

What an exciting day for Selena Gomez! She turns 18 today and a big celebration is headed her way. The plan is for all of her friends and family members to attend a huge party with karaoke at Sel's L.A. house. The birthday excitement doesn't stop there - last night on the set of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Sel was surprised with a huge red velvet cupcake! Don't forget to go to the movies tomorrow and watch Selena star in Ramona and Beezus!

A couple of weeks ago, Joe traveled to Africa for a Cambio Cares charity trip. He spent a lot of time with orphaned children and shared his experience on his blog: "We went to a couple villages where there were 7 kids with one mother in a home made out of clay and soda bottles.
